March was a month of reading and writing. My manuscript, Claudia’s Tongues of Fire, made it to the editor. I am halfway through my story, My Jesus, I Love Thee. God inspires and grants me creativity—I praise Him.

Wind’s Voice
Whistling, roaring, roaming
down forest lonely lane.
Hiding, resting, reposting
inside burly oak tree.
Debris, tossing, tumbling
over vacant winding road.
Chimes chattering, clanging
in frantic hollow tones.
Whipping, rushing, ripping
through marshy field.
Frightening, startling, shocking
across the blustery skies.
As the wind chooses to go.
“He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens; And by His power He brought in the south wind.” Psalm 78:26
(Hold on to your hats. It’s gonna be one of those days where nothing stays in its place. A VERY Happy Birthday to my youngest, who turns 40 today. It’s been a whirlwind experience watching you grow into the man you are today 💕)

SPRING BREAK
Caregivers of children during spring break, this post is for you! Having raised a few generations of children myself, I know how bored they may get. It’s hard to play table games all day. Playing video games isn’t the best option for an all-day plan. As for watching TV, well, there are better ways to develop the mind.
Below are some suggestions I found on my search this morning. I will say I’ve tried most, and they can be crowd pleaser depending on the age of the child.
Don’t forget some time for reading. Here are 5 books I think your kids will enjoy. They are available in Kindle Unlimited, ebook format, and in paperback.
Have fun with your kids—they grow up too fast!

They’re back! The marsh is a perfect place to hide. Soon, spring peepers will be available for their meals. Now to make it through, hopefully, one last winter storm. You know Spring is this Friday.

SPRING RAIN
Clouds veil the sky.
March weather—
a roll of the die
spring comes slowly,
steadily on the wing.
Patches of snow
puddle, dirt rising,
broken hearts know
rain can be refreshing—
washing away pain.
Rain now dripping,
dripping to wash
the grime, now stripping
snow from frozen earth
that just won’t let go.
Spring comes with geese
and grey skies of rain,
as a cleaning fleece—
wrapping nature fresh with
rain falling, calling, tapping.
P. Wolf
(Thank you, Lord, for creating a spring rain to wash away the grime the world scatters about. May we learn to walk with You daily.)
“Drip down,
heavens,
from above,
And let the clouds pour
down righteousness;
Let the earth open up
and salvation bear fruit,
And righteousness
sprout with it.
I, the LORD,
have created it.”
Isaiah 47:8

Between Two Sisters is a novella that tells the story of two sisters experiencing loss, redemption, and hope while emphasizing themes of sisterhood, kindness, and the reward of good deeds.
She never expected her quiet life to change—but love had other plans
A glimmer of fairy tale, a spoonful of history, and a teacup of hope.

That’s a wrap for March
Have a blessed Easter Sunday
