A quivering lyric
plummeting, plunging;
trilling tune toward
meadow nest!
A warble in wind
tumbling toward field;
feathers rumbling,
trill lingers.
A trumpeter’s tune
melodious melody;
true herald
of bright skies
A caroler’s call,
seized then snatched;
swallowed in firmament.
Skylark higher, higher still!
“Your lovingkindness, Oh Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies.”
Psalms 36:5
Love the inspiring call, specially this part:
A trumpeter’s tune
melodious melody;
Hope all is well with you.

I do love the alliteration for those birds calling above.

So much gorgeous sound here; this begs to be read aloud, multiple times.

Lovely. Yo have captured the skylark’s fluttering ascent. I wish we had them here. I think they have all be eaten…

You’ve made wonderful use of sound and alliterationin your quadrille. I especially love a ‘quivering lyric’ and a ‘warble in wind’.
