Wadi

know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3:19

In cloak of twilight,
towering trusses move
as winged creatures
in dimness of timber;

waterless wadi
hidden beneath
mounded snow;
enveloped in

darkness of night.
Weary is my view
where jaded fern,
no longer grow

on woodland bed;
lay barren of critters
tucked snuggly
within bleak terrain.

My soul, like
empty wadi,
needs daily filling
to bring me peace.
